Description: 2 days of Easter Camp fun at Lincomb Equestrian. Arrival at 4pm Monday 6th April, depart 5pm Wednesday 8th April. There is a one day choice, this could be either day depending on what suits the member best (please discuss before booking if either day is a problem). Children 9yo and over on the first day of camp are welcome to stay overnight under PC supervision, anyone younger must be accompanied by an adult (DBS check needed). Children can return home overnight if they wish. All meals, drinks and snacks are included (just lunch for those attending 1 day). Ponies will be stabled. Empty steam cleaned stables are provided and shavings are available to order(or bring your own). Stables need to be completely emptied at the end and you are more than welcome to take the shavings left home with you. There are no stables for those attending for 1 day only. Children will be given full support with any pony that is difficult to handle. We already have a number of top class specialist coaches booked for dressage, SJ, XC, polocrosse, mounted games and pony racing. A nutritionist will also be in attendance with a weighbridge. This will run a bit differently from previous camps, without the normal groups, all members will have a tailored schedule according to their preferences. T shirts are available to order, previously included in the price we are trying to reduce the overall costs for those who may not want them(and allow those who may want more to buy as many as they like!). Please order via this booking. Food is available for parents,an all inclusive price for all of camp or lunch(es) only. Spaces may open up for members of other Branches, please use the waitlist options at the bottom of the bookings. Lincomb has a luxury Clubhouse with a full kitchen, and seating area with TV (ideal for younger siblings). The closing date showing (15th Feb) applies to deposits. The full balance must be paid by April 1st (it will reopen). Please, when you make your initial booking, only use options 1 - 4 and not the installment options (do use the food/t shirt/shavings options if needed). Ponies need to be fully vaccinated to attend, passports will be checked upon arrival. 2 of the options in the booking form don't have enough room, these are below. Please comment your name and book to give consent. Mobile phones - we actively discourage members from bringing their mobile phones and other technology to camp. However if they do decide to bring them please note that our policy is that they will be kept securely by the committee members running camp until after dinner each evening. They will then be allowed their phones for a period of time before bed after which time we will remove them again. Members are asked not to take photographs (even on Snapchat) and share them during the camp. Please confirm that you and your child have read, understood and agree to this. If your answer is "no" then we will assume that your child will not be bringing a phone. Any member found in breach of these rules may be asked to leave camp. In the event of my daughter / son requiring emergency medical or dental treatment whilst taking part in the Pony Club activity as described above, and an Officer or other responsible adult being unable to contact either myself or other person with a parental responsibility for my daughter / son, I hereby authorise the District Commissioner or other Official of the Pony Club to obtain such medical or dental treatment for my child as they, in their absolute discretion, think necessary after consultation with a medical or dental practitioner. This authority extends to all medical and dental treatment including the giving of an anaesthetic where necessary.
